WHAT DOCUMENTS NEED TO BE ATTACHED?
  • Application form

  • Job invitation

  • Passports
    Internal and foreign passports in the original and two copies of the title page of the foreign passport with your personal data, passport validity period and, if available, a residence permit in other countries outside your country.
EXAMINATION OF THE APPLICATION

    Online applications go directly to the Swedish Migration Agency and are considered first. The applicant can independently track the decision on the website of the Swedish Migration Agency by the dossier number that is assigned when registering the application.
  • Application in paper form
    The Consular Section forwards the application form and documents to the Swedish Migration Board. (this can take up to 8-12 months), so it is recommended to apply electronically. The decision on the application is registered by the Swedish Migration Agency in the online system, after which the applicant receives a notification of this by e-mail indicated in his application form. An employer in Sweden receives a written decision from the Swedish Migration Agency by post in Sweden.
HOW TO GET A RESIDENCE PERMIT IN SWEDEN
After you have received the e-mail, the printed decision of the Swedish Migration Agency can be obtained in person at the Consular Section of the Embassy or Consulate.
